WW1 tank replica (moved from reenactment)
I was told it would be better to post here in Armor. I been working on this replica for a couple years on the side and I will have it finished by Veterans Day! It’s a running replica with drive sprocket and gears taken from a 1920’s tractor and powered by a Jeep L134 engine. A lot of welding and rivets to go but every week I try to make sure something is done! I’ve always been fascinated with ww1 and ww2 history so it will be nice to give people something to touch and see besides a black and white picture in there history books! I know it’s not exact but it’s my first time building one so I know the next will be closer and easier. Steel ranges from inch thick to 1/4 at thinnest.

Very impressive. I hope you post some of the information on how you did your tracks and sprockets and the rest of the running gear.

Re: WW1 tank replica (moved from reenactment)
Made my deadline to make it looked finished for the veterans day parade but unfortunately was canceled do to all the fires here in California. Heres a few pictures of it on the trailer. I think i should have it moving under its own power by February or march.[imghttps://i.imgur.com/RPnSB62.jpg][/img]
