Looking at halftracks/carriers
Hello gents, I am new around to G503, but it seemed a good as time as any to jump into the MV world. I have been looking since last September at a T16 Carrier that's for sale. I have a budget of around 35k and I'm wondering is a carrier pretty much the most Armor like one can get for that price range? Thanks-Mat

You just missed a beautiful Bren gun carrier on eBay. It was listed Twice first at 35000 then again at 32,000 didn't sell either time . Check eBay completed auction listings that should give you a good lead maybe be able to get a hold of the seller it was completely redone didn't look like it needed anything

If you stretch your budget out a little further, you could probably get into a decent halftrack. It won’t be a complete restoration, but a decent start with minor work needed. I passed on a couple tracks in that range in Europe for sale, but only because the inportation process scared me.

Sir that wouldn't have been the ex-swiss T16 that was for sale correct?Cal.Bar wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 5:42 pmYou just missed a beautiful Bren gun carrier on eBay. Indeed, I started off looking for more recent eastern block equipment, like t-55s for 48,000 or something of the sort, but the whole idea had me very uneasy, I haven't travelled west of the Mississippi, and short of Florida further south than Washington, so I tread lightly regarding foreign sales as I am only a novice in the MV world.David_4x4 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 8:49 amIf you stretch your budget out a little further, you could probably get into a decent halftrack. Before you decide on the type of vehicle, spend a few days looking for parts to gauge how available and expensive the parts are. You may find a good starter project and be stumped by parts availability.duza9999 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:20 amHello gents, I am new around to G503, but it seemed a good as time as any to jump into the MV world. Having looked for a project for several months, it seems to me that getting parts for the half track is not as difficult as many other types. I would go that route. Good luck on your quest. It sounds like you are going to have a great time.

Re: Looking at halftracks/carriers
So you come in and highjack a thread of someone else requesting info on a list of vehicles? Pardon me, I know we should all one big MV family but why are you coming and asking for other people to message you rather than creating your own thread... By the way that you made your statement, it sounds like it was a new account and the same person as OP.
Low from my perspective.
