Hi,
I have 2 gauges for a 1940's white scout car. The first gauge is a speedometer and the second gauge is the Oil/Water/Amps/fuel gauge. The first gauge is good shape and the second gauge looks brand new. I have no idea what they are worth and where to sell them.
I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,
John

Freedom Vehicles ( freedomvehicles.org ) just recently acquired a scout car. Serial number: 256717
It was converted to a farm truck after the war so the data plates are not on it. Still looking for a engine tag and other things. All rear armor is missing. To see pictures go to freedomvehicles.org --> Recent posts --> Martin Luther King Jr. Day acquisitions. Any pointers or anything anyone wants to help us with that would be great. Like an easy way to un-mount the tires;) Thanks.

It's still in Colorado and I would sell it. It would be a nice project has a perfect frame and roller. Have some other parts there that go with it. PM if you are interested.

I own M3A1 Scout Car frame #256567 Ord# 4561 The Hood # is 6012056. It is restored and won The Best of Show and Best Wheeled Armor in the1988 MVPA show in Portland Oregon. I also owned M3A1 Scout Car frame #245458 on your list. #245458 no longer exists as it was used as a parts car to restore #256567.

Does anyone know of any info that exists on where scout cars were shipped and to what units they were assigned? Mine came back from a junkyard in Greece. Its restored now but I wrote down hood numbers I found under old paint. I do have the original data plate with vehicle number as well as the correct hood number. I'd like to know more about its history because so many people ask about it.

Unfortunately that information does not exist. The only way to get an idea would be from what remained of the bumper numbers as to what unit used it.
