Hi,
I am looking for an early MB (slat grill) head with a Nov or Dec casting date. This is the 639660 head.
Thanks,

Hi Mark,
I've got a ready to run slat head dated 10/24... if that's close enough for you...
The head was professionally refurbished (bead blasted/magna-fluxed/honed) when I had my engine rebuilt
Has only ~ 50 miles on it.. I swapped it off my 45 MB last year when I acquired a correct head.
Can send you pictures via email if interested. Seeking $300 & shipping.

Re: WTB: Early MB Head
Thanks but I believe the C was added after March 42 which would make 639660C 12-1: Dec 1, 1942. I am looking for a 639660 (without "C") with 11-x or 12-x casting date which would be Nov or Dec 1941.
Thanks
Thanks
