Serial number under data plate?

Post by Guam0311 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 11:20 am

I took a scotch brite pad to the left side platform bed where the data plate used to be and it reads vaguely a series of numbers etched in the side: 6351567 and under that is: 6351557. I looked up the PN for the Platform and it doesn't appear to match any on the parts list? Could that be a serial number?

I also took a magnifying glass and could make out whats left of the yellow lettering "USMC" so it was a Jarhead MULE.

Thanks Chuck for the reply. I presume ill never know the manufacturer and origin, but I am thankful just to own a MULE.

If you post a few more photos, I may be able to help identify your machine. Photos of the top of the deck, and the underside, including the right frame tube, would be helpful. Engine and engine guard, also.
