Wanted to buy: a set of tracks for my M29 Weasel. I'd prefer a Staman International kit if anyone has a set (currently out of stock), rebuilt Liberty tracks, NOS or any other new option I might not be aware of. I'm in west central Michigan. Please let me know what you have with pictures and cost.

Dick Mastin and I dropped off a broken Weasel track at Star Point about 2 weeks ago ! Star Point has put new rubber on 3 sets of M5 Stuart Tracks so far, We plan on installing our new tank tracks soon . Star point has a 5 Ft. Mold to do Half-track tracks. They bought an old rotating X-Ray machine and have mounted a drum that will allow them to wind the steel cable on and then clamp the cables . They should be able to make a smaller drum for the M29 tracks. They are looking into making new rubber coated weasel track bands and also into having the center track guide made. I saw Don post on this topic some time back, so I emailed the folks at Starpoint. I got the following response a few days ago.

I am currently working with another company on a joint venture to bring new weasel bands to market. You will need to re use your existing grouser pads or "paddles" and the inner drive lug.
