Radio Shack R/C Tiger I tank

Post by Bob Shaw » Sun Dec 26, 2004 7:47 am

I got a Radio Shack R/C Tiger I tank for Christmas. It is very nice for it's size.highly detailed. You have the option of frequency,so you can run up to 6 tanks together at one time.(unfortunately no American tanks yet :( ).

Since my 1/6th Stuart is to big to run in the apartment, this tiger is perfect for indoors.I don't know the scale,it's not listed on the box,or instructions.

The best thing about it.I went to Radio Shack today, and they have them on after christmas clearance for $19.99,from the regular $39.99.

So I feel it is an excellent R/c collectable  ..full function-foward,reverse,left,right..turret traverses, and has machinegun, and main gun fire effects, and nicely detailed.and AFFORDABLE!

I may have to get more of them

I will try and post pics when I get home.

I almost forgot to mention...

The charging base doubles as a display case/diorama..Which helps to make it wife, and child friendly.

How big are these tanks. I'd like to get one for the kids.

Re the 1/6 Stuart. I really like mine, but its like a bull in a china shop when driving around the house. Already took some paint off the moulding (and the tank) whil driving it around the house. The dog has taken several hits from the missle launcher(not authentic to this tank but cool) already.

O-gauge is 1/48. Close enough for Government work! :)
