Finally done!
I made one for myself and one to sell.
Complete FBCB2 AN/uyk-128 cpu, keyboard, display, wiring, mount. Includes RT-524 Radio and antenna.
***NOTE*** Original hard drive and software was removed upon demilitarization. NO ORIGINAL SENSITIVE PROGRAMS, SOFTWARE, ETC... (there is NO original Blue Force software running. NONE. NO encryption, no classified stuff, that was all destroyed upon demil.)
This does NOT include a GPS unit or GPS/Satcom antenna.
I installed a new hard drive with Windows 10! (licensed copy with serial number)
**NOTE** As much as I tried, I could not get the drivers for the touchscreen. so the display is just a display, touchscreen/pen are non-functional. To move the cursor you need to use the built-in mouse on the keyboard.
You can now play minesweeper on your original computer, in your humvee (another challenge as windows 10 no longer has minesweeper, I had to find an original game pack from xp and make it work!)
I uploaded 3 .jpg pictures for the screen saver of BFT screenshots off of google. They rotate between the three screenshots when sleeping. (looks great)
RT-524 receives and transmits 30 to 90 MHZ (you need a amateur ham license from FCC to transmit on authorized frequencies)
This is not cheap, but do the math. hunt down all the individual pieces, wiring, mounts, etc. Then, spend weeks working on software installation, replacing the pieces that didn't work, etc!
This is the icing on your humvee cake!!!
Price DROP!!! $4950 shipped to your local fastenal. 48 US states only, US Citizen ONLY.
PM me if interested.

Nice job on getting the hard drive and software to run as you have.
I've been trying to do this for a while now but haven't been able to get past the installing a hard drive point. I'm not that knowledgeable to just be able to do it without a struggle. I know there are several of us that have all the pieces and would be interested in you posting a "how to thread" if you are interested in sharing the details.
Thanx

Thanks, lots of work. I can try to do a thread on it, but it is not a simple task. Many specialized cables, drive adapters, programming, etc. There are lots of programming hardware, unrelated to the FBCB2 that need to be purchased for a 1 time use. plus 25% of my bft stuff was junk, which means a repurchase of the bad components...

That is really good work. On your set up are you using RT524 verse RT1523? I'm using the C model SC/PT but my FBCB2 is a total de-mil. So I'm going to use a windows pad in lieu of an actual operating system. I don't have the knowledge to get that stuff running.

Currently, I'm using a 524 for my setup, still looking for a deal on the newer radios, like a 1439, or 1523...
I have a older style Vic1 setup, but I'm also piecing together a Vic 3...

Just a quick thought, if you are only interested in the computer assembly, and don't need the rt524 radio, I can sell it less radio and antenna for 850 off.
That makes the unit $4100.00 shipped!
