I wonder if they tried to shift the transfer case...Look at the third pic.
It looks like a rubber pad to protect your knuckles when moving the trans shifter forward.

They even put it on the high beam switch.
And it doesn't even look like good bedliner. It looks like cheap Herculiner with the rubber chunks.
Reminds me of a local police department's truck they had at a gov show and tell day. The exterior "restoration" was donated by a local Ford dealer.
Who needs to change light bulbs?

That bed liner crap may be the modern day cosmoline and this might just end up being the best preserved Humvee body in the world in a hundred years.
