There's more than just JEEPs in my fleet, there's a nice 1958 M-37B1 in my fleet, a lot of NOS sheet metal was installed on this M-37 along wit a NOS "Crate Engine". Note the drivers side Spot Light from an Engineers Contact Truck that I installed back in 88 when I restored this M-37. Also note the unique Canadian Army License Bracket at the front of the left fender, this was a Chrysler supplied accessory as well as a factory passengers side Mirror Bracket.
Note the 1958 Era U.S.A. Registration.
Been considering doing this over in USAF Strata Blue.

Once these guys drive an M37, they will quickly forget about these useless toy jeeps. I know I have tried to for 40 years. But they keep coming back.

That baby carriage ride will win you over every time, and you can sack out on the troop seats.

Beautiful as is, but I think you should take it to Strata Blue! I am a confirmed WWII vehicle collector and the only M-series piece I currently own is an M-416, but I sure do miss my M-37. A good friend used to call them "The Flower of the Power Wagons."

M37s ride better than WCs or Power wagons due to the way the springs are attached.
Here are mine, although the 53 has been sold. The later one is my 63, M37B1 WW.
Yes, the Michelin tires do make it ride nice and go fast.
Note the early 2430, and late, 24087, paint colors.
I would never paint one blue.

Two beauties, and those Michelins make an already great truck even greater.

Any one have an Engineers' Contact Truck? They are the ultimate G-741 Dodge. The Spot Lights on my M-37 are from the Engineers Contact Truck. The Contact truck is built on the long wheelbase M-56 Chassis.
I have the Original Davey Factory Drawings that Davey Air Compressor used to make up the Contact Truck. I would love to have ha one of these to restore.

My Mafia Staff Car would like to have an original GI Issue M-37 Hard Cab.
The Original was made specifically for M-37's, there was another kit that the Army converted for the M-37, it had an oval rear window and was adapted from the Open Cab CCKW Winter Enclosure. I am looking for the former.

Any more "Mafia Staff Cars" out there? There's nothing like the smooth baby carriage ride and the drone of a well tuned M-37.

Too bad the engineers at Dodge couldn’t figure out a better spot to put the heater. It looks so out of place on the fender. I guess when all the room is taken up in the engine compartment, unconventional places have to be used.
