Post by D.R.H. » Sat Apr 28, 2018 5:14 pm

I stumbled on this video and in it this old boy shows a W.W. 2 Dodge of some type. The hood is not louvered yet it still has registration numbers on it. I am at a loss. Dodge Gurus, help out here will ya.

Looks like a WC 1/2 ton that somebody grafted a Chevy or CCKW cab on
nothing about the cab or hood sides is factory

Definitely not a Chevy or Jimmy cab. The rear window is too big and is more rectangular, the doors have a double beauty trim with door handle well below the window. Chevy and Jimmy closed cab trucks do not have this style of embossed trim in the doors.

Looks like a ford hood and cab. The push out windshield is strange if it is a ford since the early 40’s ford cabs had a non opening windshield I believe. It is military so perhaps they specified a push out windshield. Just guessing now.
