I have a WC-12 with a data plate on the bed indicating it is a 1941. But the title says it is a 1937. If there's a date on the data plate on the dash I cannot read it.
Any suggestions on determining the correct date?

Re: Correct date?
Getting the Build Card for you truck would be the way to go. I don't have the information with me right at the moment, but I submitted a request to get a build card for my WC26 Carryall and WC52 a couple of weeks ago via e-mail. They said it would be four or five weeks.Michael Keller wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 5:05 amI have a WC-12 with a data plate on the bed indicating it is a 1941. But the title says it is a 1937. Maybe someone can post the link here to the request form for you.

What is the serial number Mike?
Your truck is 100% a 1941. The entire T211 production run was in 1941

Re: Correct date?
Civilian titles were assigned to military vehicles, with years not during WW2 because the DOT data base does include Dodge or Willys or Ford production during WW2, so they assign other years to it. I have a 1940 Ford two door; the lady refused to change it even though I showed her all the documentation on it. (42 GPW) She threatened me with "Well, maybe I just won't issue you a title at all". To which I shut up. Do not mess with the DOT ladies; they can make your life hard.
