My 1944 radio airfield WC51 dodge project

Post by Peterdodge6volt » Wed Mar 21, 2018 7:58 pm

Hi G members and dodge members
I just try to see if the picture is working on the form. Ok it is working for now.

This is my 1944 dodge WC51 radio airfield truck.
I purchased her in 2011 and it came with full of parts in the back, which I didn't surprise a week before I came to visit to have a look at her. It also had the matching engine number as spare siting in the back and a replacement engine in running when I bought her. I t also came with the original photo and a original spanner as well.
I rebuilt the replacement engine and runs so strong, the matching original T214 engine is still in progress as its waiting on 0.20 con rod bearing and I was told it was last running in 1946, the original engine is totally very worn out.

Her name is Diffy and I am the third owner of this dodge,

I was working so slowly on the project, I only get a 1 day or 2 days off in the weekend.

Pictures below half way done and her first test drive for few hours fun drive at the farm, she's now cover in dust and will wash her this weekend.

Let me know if the pictures working and I will try post more pictures later.

Thanks Peter

Picture works great, Peter! And that's how a Dodge is supposed to be driven!

Consider using the 'LINKED MEDIUM IMAGE' on your next photos.

I thought it was medium, but try linking the medium one to this site, and then we can open it and enlarge it as well.

No problem, Peter- we'll get it fixed!

Once you PROCESS your picture onto Surfacezero, there is a tab (to the right of your photo) for you to 'EDIT PHOTO' under your Location and Post count.

Click that, and rotate your image to your liking

Copy

Paste

But when I was surface zero site, my album photo all was upside down but when I click on the photo it was fine the right way.
So I rotate it to see if is work now on the form.
But same thing just writing link.

Nice. Just don't paint it yellow and white checkerboard like some airfield trucks I have seen.
