WTS: Sept 42 Ford GPW - SPF
WTS: 1942 Ford GPW serial number #67000
6V, Running with CJ engine, have the original engine that was in sitting on pallet.
Solid hat channels and very solid, will need new gas tank well.
Never had MWO for blackout drive light, trailer connector or gun rack completed.
Was purchased at Camp Blanding by previous owner in 1946.
Nice solid original GPW.
Located in Atlanta GA.

Wow! I'm amazed that jeeps in this condition still pop up from time to time after all these years!

Hi, the front bumper bar on the first picture looks different to the one on the last picture. Has this been replaced in the meantime?

A vacuum wiper on the driver and an Anco Rainmaster on the passenger. Interesting combination and likely both added late war! Very cool

No, not as yet, but i am resourceful ,
it just gives the G a bad taste when someone agrees a sale and then does not get back in touch, after taking a deposit
I have had some good dealing with some of the people on here, but one bad apple!!! (maybe more)

Unfortunately there are quite a few bad apples on here - don't let this experience speak for everyone, though. Many of us are honest and willing to go above and beyond for other members, and other MV owners as a whole!

Don’t know where you’re from but I think I’d end up on his front door step.

PM sent to confirm ID. If it's the Jason I am thinking of, he is NOT a member of the GA MVPA, but may have been at one time. I'll look through old directories and see what I have on him to pass on to the concerned party.

Re: WTS: Sept 42 Ford GPW - SPF
Jason is both a thief and a liar, he agreed a sale with me the same day as the jeep was advertised, then took a deposit from me and then sold it to another person later, then when i emailed some days later he replied that there was a problem with the title (all saved on emails) and that the would be in touch when he had sorted it out, obviously knowing that he had sold it to some on else
he has not replied to any of my emails or telephone calls
he has not returned my deposit !!!
I would certainly steer clear of this person if you are thinking of buying from him,
