A tool kit for an early 44 GPW. Suggestions?

Post by lucakiki » Wed Apr 18, 2018 3:09 am

A gee member, who shall be unnamed unless he wants me to, asked me for a toolkit that would please the judges when his GPW Is entered in a contest.
Here is what I came up with.

Yes, there is a beautiful Ink stamped IRWIN! The spark plug wrench is a Mossberg not GPW marked.
The Alemite grease gun has its fire nozzle adapter, and the pump has a repro hose assembly.
What do you guys think?
Is there anything that I should change?

P.S. : NO, there are not the brake bleeder wrench, the drain valve wrench, the hub puller, the lugnut wrench.
I do not have originals, and they can be purchased as repros.

Luca,
I would only add that the TPG is Druge and the hammer is a Heller stamped like the one found in the Bizal kit. Slip joint pliers are JPD. Looks great!

Nikko, the toolkit pictured has been delivered to its new owner!

I was happy to read, in a dedicated thread, that the spark plug wrench I supplied, not GPW marked, might be considered correct for late GPWs.

I will be offering, always at friendly prices, other GPW and MB toolkits carefully assembled at the best of my knowledge, with the invaluable help from Phil.
