WLA 2nd echelon tools

Post by matt506 » Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:17 am

Been off the forem for a while, thought I might give a try here. I put the mechanics GMKT and body box aside as I am working on a ww2 WLA 2nd echelon tool setup. Most tools are special to the bike but a few are simple hand tools and all are listed with the HD part number and the Government specification number. My issue is I only have line drawings and no specific on the tool itself. Listed are a few I need info on and WOULD be interested in picking up from anybody. At the very least a picture would be a huge help with markings shown. Here are a few,
Rawhide Mallett 41 m 486
copper hammer 41 H 265
Tungsten point file 41 d 1410
thickness Guage 41G 407
head bolt wrench41 w 1525
valve spring compressor 41 L 1410
valve key tool 41 r 2403
eccentric valve seat grinder 40 v 530
2 to 3 inch micrometer 41 c 233 50
0 to 1 inch micrometer 41 c 225
2 to 8 inch inside micrometer 41 c 304
copper jaws 41 j 325
tap 41 t 1026
air operated grease gun40 g 498 25
whew that was tough I have some of these items but some may be too late for war time. Thanks for any help. Matt
