Could this be an original keyswitch?

Post by Frankie » Thu May 17, 2018 1:56 pm

This is the keyswitch that was in 22192. I'm thinking it is a replacement? What say you? The only marking is BAT on the back, and the matching very worn key has NG409 on one side and on the other ....TO SPEC and under that ....NEW YORK. Dots indicate illegible characters.

The switch in question is one of the generic universal ignition switched that have been marketed since at least the 40's. GI Switches do not have the spacer nut or grooved mounting nut.
