See if the bulbs have any description of voltage on them.

This style is on eBay from our friends in India, where al quality reporduction jeep parts come from. I love the phillips head screws on the "WWII" tail light.
Adam sent me some photos and the sockets hold small bulbs, not the sealed beam type black out or convoy light. So I presume I can put either 6v or 12v bulbs in them. Or, convert to LED for that matter.
