Re: Willys Overland factory assembly line, photos + film
New factory photo surfaced. What's interesting is this is not the assembly line, but some sort of secondary. Note the rows of Jeeps parked at left, and no overhead duct work. This is also probably where the other photos of the two guys working underneath were taken. I'm wondering if these guys are actually Government inspectors.

Hi Farrell,
Having another look at the fella leaning, does he have a badge on the side of his cap ''employee badge'' maybe?.
Cheers Gary

Do we think that this is a reflection, or a bit of paper/tape/something from masking still on the reflector?
Ian.

Gary,
You might be right, he might be a factory employee. The gentleman driving the Jeep, however, appears to be wearing nicer clothing, although I can't say for sure what he is.
Ian,
In your photo, that's going to be hard to tell. However, since the screws for the reflectors were bare finish when mounted, you might be correct in spotting what could be masking tape.

Next... How many jeeps were on the roof when the shot was taken? Count the ones out of view in the lower right and left of the photo. Good luck. (I don't know, but will spend time counting). Probably will compare other shots from other sources taken the same day if they were.
