WHERE TO BUY - Scepter gas cans

Post by DDTrustee » Tue Apr 24, 2018 7:32 am

I want to buy about ten of the super dangerous Scepter cans that our GIs use all the time. BTW, you can fix those shi**y Kalifornya spouts by pushing really hard on the plastic tit on the side and braking out the guts of the thing so they work like normal open spouts. Then use the yellow plastic cap on the spout........Vola I do not need some DA at the CPSC telling me what works and what doesn't....idiots.

They are expensive, but readily available on eBay (used). Sometimes I see them on Craigslist, just as expensive. To purchase them new, you need to be active duty and have some type of Govt. purchase order crap.
I've been lucky and have found some of the older steel cans with good liners and use them regularly.
If you find a good inexpensive source for them, let us know.
