Onan 2CK-1M Generator

Post by ArmySailor » Sun May 20, 2018 6:43 am

There is no specific place on the boards here to discuss military generators (power units, or whatever you want to call them) but I see a few such notations here, so I will give this board a shot.

Just acquired an Onan 2CK-1M SPEC 154R generator. It's a 2KW unit with a two cylinder Onan flathead engine. It's 60 cycle, 110V. I have found very little info on it thus far. Searching for a manual TM-5-5363. Haven't found a manufacturing date on it but there are various informational clues hinting to it being early to mid '50s vintage.

Anyone have an experience with, or knowledge of, this generator. Or clues to someone that might?
