FS: Rare WW2 ('45) T22 57mm RR Practice Round SOLD

Here's something you don't see every day... A wartime (as in WW2) 57MM Recoilless Rifle Inert Practice Round.

Image

Overall EXC condition. Projectile is marked: MY-4-8 1945 57MM, T22. Aluminum fuze is marked: FUZE, DUMMY, T126. Inside of the projectile is filled with a plaster-like compound to simulate weight.

I refinished the rust-free head to the original black. There was no evidence of painted markings on this head prior to the repaint. Casing retains most of the factory lacquer finish. Rust on the casing head only (no markings regardless). The punched Primer is also dated 1945. First one of these with a WW2 date that I've found (or seen).

$225 plus postage. Domestic sales only please. Please PM direct if you are interested. Thanks for looking!

*** SOLD
