I am having the same issues.

I ordered CCKW open cab seats and cab covers last October for delivery April 15.

Still have not seen them. Numerous phone calls with messages left and a dozen emails

No response.

Finally got this Yahoo auto response on September 2 after another email:
New Life Canvas is currently moving to a new, larger location. We will contact you as soon as we have the office up and running in the new workshop! The phone number listed will put you into a voice mail service where you can leave a message, and a new number will be available within the next week. We look forward to being able to provide you with even better customer service after this relocation. Thank You!

Almost a year wait. Great product but the service on this order has been a disappointment.

Howdy
I, too, was planning to order a top for my Ben Hur and one for my G506 this winter. I can get both tops for what Beachwood wants just for the truck top and have changeleft over!
I surely hope nothing bad has happened to them. Their products look excellent.

Hey guys I got backs and buns for my halftracks from John Worthing at American Canvas in the UK and they were nice and he made them in a timely manner with no deposit upfront. Having said that, I got a quote from John on Ben Hur canvas $335 at todays exchange rate, canvas for G506 $687, seat cover for G506 $105, and shipping to Mississippi $344  for a grand total of $1471.
Not bad considering.

So John and Mary are making halftrack seats and backs now? Because the last time I asked them they didn't make them at all. Can you post a picture of them please?

I think getting a canvas for your vehicles is the hardest part of a restoration! I ordered a GMC tarp at John and Mary a year ago and he just forgot about it when I asked about it... And from New Life I just don't get any reply at all. I have a lot of people here waiting for canvas who are willing to pay! But it just seems that these canvas people don't want to get some large orders.

New Life Canvas seems to be operational once again. Sort of. I called their number today and it now gives you a new number to call. I placed an order and they told me I would not see it until november at the earliest and january at the latest. They apparently have alot of back orders right now.

Jeroen me old mate, your Half track seats and Ben Hur trailer cover are here in our workshop and have been for some time. If you want me to send them to you thats fine by me but what you are not telling the readers of this thread is you chose to have them delivered FREE OF CHARGE to one the shows in Europe which we were both attending. Unfortunatly due to various reasons I have not been over to the Continent this year, even missing "Tanks In Town" as my Sherman engine is a bit sick.

As many of you know I try to attend the various military shows and sales in France,Belgium and Holland and where possible I am more than happy to take with me any canvas items ordered, never asking for payment up front and never asking any money for delivery.

With regard to canvas suppliers being slow on delivery times I think you will find most are either small family companys or as in our case just two people Martin( my business partner) and myself.I can assure you if we worked 18 hours a day, 6 days a week we could not keep up with our orders. If we could find someone to work for us to the same high standard that we expect it would help cut our lead times, but thats like finding a needle in a haystack

Anyway enough of my ramblings, its only 23.00 so I better get back to my sewing machine before someone else has a go at me for slacking

I got canvas from New Life for my WC51, GPW and my Ben Hur. Not the fastest or cheapest but I believe the product is the best out there.
