Need source for Replacement M3 37MM ATG Wheel Hub Studs

Post by TiredIron » Tue Apr 03, 2018 8:19 am

I looking for a source for Correct Replacement Hub Studs used on the M3 37MM ATG. I don't have to have both "Right & Left" hand threads...all
"Right Hand" would be fine...But I would like for the inside Stud Flange to be correct. Has anyone here found a reliable source..??
Thanks Gents

Are your hubs made for Jeep Wheels? Drive one out and post a pic. Measure the spline OD. I pic of the spline detail and the OD of the splines measured by a micrometer will confirm if they are MB/CJ-2A Jeep Studs. The 37MM AT Gun used two type wheels, the bolt patterns were different.

Here's what I think I know so far. I haven't been able drive one of the studs out yet but I did get a lug nut off. I was told that they're not Jeep wheels but more than likely Studebaker wheels. By My measurements...the Studs are 1/2 inch diameter...1.0 inch long from the inside of flange....
and the flange up against the hub appears to be 15/16th diameter. I've Kroil'd the studs and will try beating on them again in a few days.

Put a nut flush with the end and use a 2# Hammer to give a stud a healthy whack, it will come out with no damage. That way you can post a pic of the stud and I can help you with exact replacements.

Got it.
Will try to ID these using a couple other brands and see if they are still in stock locally.
