Federal C2

Post by Jeff Jensen » Sun Jan 05, 2014 1:49 pm

Hello All
Looking for manuals for the Federal C2. Portrayal Press has TO 19-20-16 that has just about everything (operation and rebuild) except for a complete parts listing.
I have TO 19-20-17 parts 606D serial no.113001-114859. It is missing the first 2 pages of the index and maybe a picture of the truck, I need them if you have them.
From what information I have manuals for the C2 are T.O.19-20-1 to T.O. 19-20-21
There is very little information on the net.
What do you have ?
Jeff

Hey Jeff, I don't have any manuals but I thought these two photos from my Observers Guide might help 'The Quest'.

T.
Yes I do.

Portrayal has a T.O. 19-20-16 for me, I am sending him my parts manual TO 19-20-17 606D serial no.113001-114859 So all of us C2 owners will have one.

Would you be interested in making me a copy of the Garwood manual ?

Do you have any pictures of your C2, I can send you pictures of mine but need your email address.

OOOOOO AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! John, that is my kind of project, ready for the recycler!! It looks really overwhelming to some to try to imagine making a truck like that shine. BUT!, the pride that comes after she is all nice and spit polished by ones' own hands can't compare to buying one off the shelf.
I would love to 'IN' on the restoration of this truck. Jeff!?, we're waitin' on your pics brother! :)

Thanks for the pictures. What is the serial # on yours?

Whoever painted 40 MPH on the dash didn't have a clue. More like 35 if you are feeling lucky! The axle ratio is 10.22 to 1 and the 6 inch stroke Hercules has no counter balances on the crank....

The steering wheel still looks good. Mine has the same wheel on it.

I can get you a copy of the Garwood manual - do you have a copy of the parts book?
