Tought for me to find god images of the original set up for the behind the cab battery box on the G506. This is what is on there now and I feel that, at least, the wood is Bubba. The frame bolted to the truck frame feels OE, but I dn't know what goies on this hanger to hold the battery. I have read that VOV sells a repo, but I can't find one on their site, so it may be obsolete. I do find one for the CCKW on VOV web page. Anyone offer a repo box? Or if not, any good photos of what I need to look OE?

All help appreciated.

Hi Robert. I purchased a complete reproduction Battery Box from this company that was listed on Ebay; https://www.wildenbergparts.nl/. I think I paid around $400.00 including shipping for it, but it was very correct and they only had 3 or 4 left at the time. What you have on your truck is just about 1/4 of what should be there. You can write to them and ask if they have more. They are a friendly shop and willing to do business. I could not have built this myself, too intricate without a metal shop. It is well constructed and looks really nice. Perhaps they have some more left, and you can get one too.

Here is what I purchased, sorry for the blurry image:

I just saw the Battery Box on the VOV site today. With various parts as well. Perhaps it was just recently listed?
