G-506 Grills, brush guards early and late + shp

Post by newc » Sat Mar 10, 2018 10:36 am

Hi; Cleaning out the extras... Early serpentine grill, Drilled for High light mount, blasted ,primed and painted #319 $175: later style with side light hoop, not cleaned $100. Fenders you call, all types $100 @ up. CHEVROLET engine sides $150 @ up. Engine sides smooth $100@. Rad core supports $60 @ up. Radiator $100. Transmissions $100@ . Transfers $100@up . I parted 4 trucks to build one. Also a good 261" Chevrolet core eng $750. It's a bunch of spares and shipping the big stuff is a real pain... Greyhound up to 100 lbs. Thanks for looking Newc in Oregon

Interested in a transmission. I primarily need the case but would take the whole thing, provided case and bolt holes are intact. I have two of them and both of them have one of the cover bolt holes broken off. Let me know what youve got.

This is what the transmission looks like if you remove the shifter tower/cover.

Both of my cases have one of the two bolt lugs on the left broken off. Sounds like the transmission still has the shifter and PTO attached. Going to be difficult to ship that way...

I'll keep looking.

Oh, OK. Now I understand. I can strip a transmission and ship the case with gears, or even just a case. Say $40 for a case or $60 for case and gears, all + shipping. It has to be oil free-clean and will go USPS that way. It will be a good lesson for me to strip a case. Your call. Thanks Newc

If the case is good, I'd the case and and gears for $60 deal. Just let me know what you find out on the case. Thanks!

Huge shout out to Newc!! I finally got around to opening and unwrapping the transmission case and gears that I bought from him. It was a large box, wrapped well, and bound with heavy cordage as a precaution. LOTS of inner layers of cardboard and the transmission was sealed in a heavyduty plastic bag to prevent any seepage. All I can say is WOW! This case and gears look amazing!! I feel like a kid in a candy store!!
