I just love what BUBBA does with wiring. This appears to be the original harness to the rear of the vehicle.
BUBBA also ran the wiring in a metal tube as well.
This reinforcement piece was put on both sides under the rear fender. I took off the passenger side to help in removing the small dents on that side.

Received information on my GPW. I inquired in the VEP Ford GPW owners, sn, DoD and reg no. thread. This is the information I received.
Hello 54WILLYSJEEP,
From my GPW studies and databases, Your GPW 14359 should have come from the Dallas, Tx. assembly plant. The most likely DoD looks to be about April 9th, 42 .

Re: Hello from So. Cal. GPW project serial #GPW 14359
I have a patch panel for this section of the pioneer tools. the rest looks good to go. I have to cut out the crap that's in there first.
As you can see most of the floorboard to the firewall is serviceable and from the transmission hump is serviceable until it gets under where the riser should be it has been welded to the riser. I have thought of trying to keep as much as the original floor as possible by making a patches that will be about 2" in width and weld them to the original floor
this is the fabbed in riser that is incorrect. The rest of the floor apparently rusted away and was welded to this part.
Drivers side fender well.

This part here will be patched in to the new patches to keep the original position as it is a pressed in part i cannot reproduce this part. I will scab in a patch for the part that goes under the riser.
It comes to no surprise that this rusted away and was filled in with this patch. I have a large patch piece I made that will almost cover most of this area where the gun mount comes through. Of course it will be cut for the correct riser piece.

Project is moving along nicely. Frame has been straightened and in good shape. Been working on it here and there. My photos are too large to use the G503 forums picture attachment.
Anyone have any photo sharing sites that don't charge an arm and a leg?

Gentleman I have come to a point where I had to take off one of the front leaf spring shackle therefore I have to replace the HUCK BOM rivets. I have found this response in another thread. I would like to confirm that this is the correct length of the HUCK BOM rivet for what I have to do before I proceed to replace them.
Emphasis in red as to what I believe is what I need.
Thanks guys

A blind rivet is used where you cannot access both sides of the rivet. GPW frames use several along with the normal hot rivets you can set using a bucking bar and rivet set. The huck rivets are set using a tool much like a pop rivet gun only much bigger and usually air powered Hyd.
Here is the site for the fasteners
http://www.jpcspecialties.com/huck/ Look at the BOM fastener PDF file and it will explain the usage. The rivets needed are these
BOM-R12-4 for blind inner and outer frame connections
BOM-R12-6 for blind spring shackle and engine mounting brackets
Note: With help from a sales rep we came to the results above based on distance of grip needed ect. I have not used one yet to make sure it works correctly. So use this info as refrence only untill im sure the rivet compresses with desired results.
The C6L Fasteners will work as well in some applications but to me it looks like with this fastener you need to have access to both sides of the pieces your riveting. I very well maybe wrong on this as I have not seen one of these in action.
I`m currently looking for used rivet tool to set these BOM`s as a new one is just to costly and I can`t justify the cost in my mind. FYI Jim at big flats didn`t have a source for these.

Re: Hello from So. Cal. GPW project serial #GPW 14359
I was able to get some HUCK BOM Rivets for my jeep. No problems at all.
Now I do have a question. I did buy a rear cross member in 2016 while I was gone and of course not knowing where the "F" mark is on it since most of my original is missing. I have already drilled and bolted on my rear crossmember to the frame.
My frame is a April 42 so I suppose a "F" marked rear crossmember is appropriate.
Where the heck is that "F" mark located. I have what is left of mine and I can't find it.
