AWESOME!!!! Well done Randall (and Family).
It sure it a wonderful feeling driving it around the yard isnt it! Almost as good (and sometimes better!!!) than driving it on the road.

Please keep the updates coming. Always enjoyable.

Cheers,
Ian.

I stripped and fitted new brushes, bushes, rewrapped the windings and bench tested all good these Gennys and starters are very sturdy units.

Time for some more paint, and I found some WW2 Australian Army Green Paint at my local paint shop.
The story goes like this, I went to the shop looking for some Olive Drab, I was'nt quite happy with what I had, while I was talking to the shop owner he said he had some paint 2 litres on the shelf that was a few years old and I could have at half price, some old bloke had brought a part in of a gearbox which had never seen sun light and had it colour matched and order the paint but never came back to pick it up, it seems he fell ill and never finished his project a blitz truck of some sort.
Any how here is what I got and I love it. Undercoat first.

I seem to have missplaced some pics of wiring the tub and behind the dash, I was glad I did this while the tub was still on the body spinner.
