Actually that's the impressive part of your story.
Not only are you working outside in adverse conditions, you are also rebuilding a GP. Not quite as easy as a standard jeep.
I agree. Looking through make me think of in theater repairs on steroids.
Your doing a frame off in the same conditions we had doing DS in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Great thread.

It's interesting this bubbled up, Claude, I dug out all my steering knuckle flange seals the other day. Have you remedied this issue yet?

Any updates?
I just took a few hours and caught up reading all of this... It's like putting a book down with a few chapters left. ;)

Hi Claude,
I realize you have probably been busy with work, and life in general, but anything new on the GP?

Hello all,it has been over a year since i posted last.Progress on the GP project came to a stop about that same time.I had other irons in the fire that needed tended too,so with most of those taken care of i will be able to continue with the GP.So here it is front diff out for an overhall, new brakes, cylinders, etc.Diff will be taken to a shop to do the proper spec cluster install.

Hello Friends,it is good to be back. With the differential not going to the shop until after the first of the year.I will dig up one of a few projects that need tending too. I think I will address the fuel tank.I found an old jeep in a salvage yard a long while back and it had a good fuel tank,so I pulled it to use for the GP.Picts as soon as I find my USB Cord. FORWARD MARCH!!!

I think this was a cj tank i am really not sure.I will make it work for the GP.I already cut the fuel neck off.I will patch that hole up.And re-purpose it in a better location unnder the seat.Over-all tank looks to be in pretty fair shape and looks to be a nice fit.
