Hi guys I live in Serbia and I have a Ford GPW. I started the restoration. In Serbia is very hard to find original parts.The enigine and transmission are not original. Here are some pictures

Nice work from what I can see but be carful with the site you are using to host your photos, my ISP says the page is bad.

Many ISPs don't like pages from Russia and eastern Europe as that's where most of the fun stuff like guns, women and drugs are advertised. For ISP providers its ok to blanket profile decent sites. :roll:

Hello,

Many post-war European rebuilds are found with numbers similar to these stamped into the side of the left front frame horn.

From my GPW studies and database the 20207651 should be the original hood number for GPW 100682. This GPW was built near the end of the third GPW contract ( my estimate of the DoD would be 1 March, 1943 ) at the Louisville, Ky. assembly plant according to the 20207651 number.

I must say you are doing a great job with your jeep.
Hope you will find the parts you will need in the restore prosess.

You can post for needed parts in the "Wanted" session, but you might give us some hint here as well.
