Exaust at engine hot red when accelrate

Today l have started my mutt m 825 and found that exaust pipe just attached with the engine was hot red when i accelarate the engine without shifting into gear. Is it a problem or normal.Any expert openion.

Check your timing and fuel mixture.

I would say your timing and fuel mixture were off as well, but it is a thin wall Stainless Steel pipe for a manifold, and normally air would be rushing across it if you were driving, not revving it up stationary. Unless you blow a gasket, it should be fine, but do see if your timing is too retarded or your fuel too lean making it run hot.
