I've been searching posts, was curious how everyone felt about using the same gear oil for diffs, trani and transfer case? OK to do, or not?
Update....brake system replaced, NOT going to recommend changing out master cylinder for a good time.... Sprayed a squirt of starter fluid into carb, she started, so fuel pump next, paint in the next few months, radio arriving in the next month.

Re: Gear Oil
I've used SAE 90 in mine for the last 25 years without problems. I live in San Jose and we don't see temperature extremes here and generally that's one reason for varying oil viscosities, the other being high mileage.

Re: Gear Oil
If you can still find straight 90 than that is the best for all of your driveline stuff.
