Wounded are given aid Wounded Marines are helped to an air station by Navy Medical Corpsman and fellow marines, less seriously wounded.
Wrecked American equipment both on the beach and in the water are clearly shown.
The Volcanic sand that proved to be such an obstacle to the landing is best illustrated by the depth to which the Jeep in the right foreground has sunk as well as the depth of the footsteps of the men going along the beach.
