1942 GPW 8053
I finally purchased my first WW2 jeep. I have been wanting one for over 30 years. My father drove them in WW2, he was in the engineers division.
The Jeep I purchased was from a gentlemen who lived in Reno NV. He purchased is in 1972 and had it restored. He was a doctor in the air force and took the jeep the Reno Air show every year.

A fine looking script GPW. Add a few odds and ends that are missing to make it look even better.

Smart to buy a running, and complete jeep for your first! It took me 7 jeeps to understand how that is the way to go, and I still don't have a complete one
You saved a lot of money right there...

Very nice “first” jeep! Be careful....they tend to multiply!
Cry “Havoc!”, and let slip the dogs of war
