Hi SCoutpilot,
thanks for the offer but I was hoping for something a little less expensive. I can overhaul myself so if you have a carb that I can overhaul that would be great.

Thanks

That is about the going rate even for a used one.

I am not an M38 guy, so I'm pleading ignorance here. I picked up some parts in an estate sale and most of them appear to be 38 or A1 parts and this carb was in the mix. The throttle body casting is damaged, but everything moves and works smoothly. I don't know if this is the carb that is being sought or if the throttle body can be replaced or repaired, but I'd let all this go for $100 plus shipping if anyone can use it to rebuild or for parts.

Again, don't know if this helps or not . . .

To the rest of the gang, we are looking for the throttle body cast part to this carb. The one I have is broken and I do not have the shattered piece to weld back on. Is this a unique throttle body? Or will something from another similar carb work? Are the throttle bodys available? I've got the carb if we can come up with the missing link.
