Here's a Newly found PE-95H Some good stuff

Nobody wanted it so it came home, uninspected. Some pictures of original cap, plug wires, governor drain lines and spec numbers. Looks like an earlier head. Whats with the ground wire? from the heat valve to the vave cover fitting Kinda think no serial number though, will recheck.

Nice looking Genny. It think the wire you are talking about is part of the overheat shut off. You can select the temp you want the gen set to shut off at by turning the thermostat. When it hits that temp it should shut off. Used to prevent overheating.

The wire you refer to is next to the oil return hose from the governor to the valve cover, the wire is the starting battery voltage to the Sisson choke (in parallel with the starter motor)

I see it there now. Looks like they just taped the wire to the oil return hose to keepit from flying around. It does loop back to the control wiring of the genset.
