Can you read what is on that windshield?

Also, how are they keeping the ammo cans on the fenders?

I've made reprints from the original slides but what's written on the windshield is still very difficult to read:

1st line
LGTB or LGTO followed by-H-T-? HN RT 4FT HN
2nd line
WTH or WTB or WTR followed by a space followed by 3FT 21A or 3TT 21A followed by a 9 digits serial not readable.(smaller fonts)
3rd line
Verry difficult to read : 1 or I TON I-CB?
Sorry cannot do any better.

To me, the ammo boxes are screwed to the fenders and are perhaps used for something else than ammos.

The ammo can on the LH fender is German.

I came across a picture that shows what is written on the windshield of that jeep here above.
The same marking was on a jeep in a photo taken during the invasion in Normandy.
Here is that jeep with the similar markings.
