Fording kit install
Got a fording kit for my M38, there's a rubber o-ring with the hardware kit that is listed as an anti-squeak for the air intake support tube. Anyone know where this goes? I've looked at a lot of pictures but can't get enough detail to see where this ring goes. Thanks for any help.

Believe it slips on the support pipe that holds the intake hose up along the windshield from the aircleaner. I would position it near the top of the support tube.

CJV-35, Thanks for the info, with your direction I went back to some pictures and enlarged the area of the windscreen/support tube and there it was. It appears that it was placed at the point of closest contact between the tube and windshield frame ( four different pics/four different locations of the ring).
Thanks again

Glad to help. You have in my opinion, the "Best" of the military flat fender jeeps.

LT, that's why they placed those little gold bars on your collar points! TOP would approve. Are you bringing the M38 to Fort Wayne? Chuck and I are going down there in a couple of weeks to talk to the boss man regarding power, water, tour path, etc.
