Need shape of Pad ...

Post by kb1zq » Sat Aug 18, 2007 8:53 am

I am getting ready to replace my driver's side front fender with a correct one... There is supposed to be a pad under the driver's blackout light... does anyone have one that can give me the correct shape and thickness... I am assuming it is 1/8" rubber sheet...

Mine does not have it and while I have it apart I would like to replace it...

7346941 PAD, insulator, blackout driving lamp support (ru)

Thanks in advance...

I didn't have a rubber sheet to cut any from so I just used some rubber washers.

I have one that I removed from an M38, it appears to be soft rubber almost like neoprene as it is formed to the shape of the light base ( it is thicker where the light base is raised)

If anyone has a pattern I could use it too.
