I have a 1972 151 A2, uncut. I have the 24 volt system (two batteries) I'd like too replace my snorkeling spark plugs with regular AC,or whatever. Does it matter which plugs you use?????? It still has 1 CAV/7/HQ CO stenciled on the rear of this vehicle.

Also, should I use a lead base allow in the gas tank ...I use ....but stopped after awhile.

Thanks.

The g838 website has been down it appears for a couple of days...

If you are going for regular plugs then you need the military adapters which are hard to find...

With adapters, you can run the Champion RJ6 plug. This is the plug that the military ran with their adapters according to John Murray. They cost considerably less than Autolite 2245 plugs.

You can run the plugs without the adapters but what are you going to do for plug wire attachment at the distributor?
