On to the next project. I now have the door frames and curtains. I test fit the passenger side with little trouble. but when I looked at the drivers side I found a potential problem. The Mutt has a forging kit on it. and the brace for the intake tube is right next to the frame.
My question is : does anyone else have the forging kit and the door curtains? do you need to cut a slot into the curtain for the brace? (which I do not care to do). by leaving the top section of the curtain out of the holder? this doesn't seem correct either.
Looking for information or suggestions on how to work with this.
thank You

Re: door curtains
You either have to cut the slot or a work around is to run the brace to the mirror mount/windshield hinge on the outside of the windshield. The angle is down but still holds it fairly tight. If you are going to be crashing through the brush then you will need to mount it inside.

Re: door curtains
That does the trick. I really do not want to cut the material. and for the short time during the year I have to doors on I really like moving the air intake tube bracket to the out side front.
another great idea , thanks for the idea it is much appreciated.
oh yes and I did try to look for information in the past posts. I just didn't ask for the right information.
again thank you
