Point taken. First time I see a rope actually on the fender. As per the drawing I have. I was feeling pleased but you do have a point.

I mounted my rope like the drawings shows. For some reason I am unable to upload the pictures. I can send the pictures to someone's email that would be able to post them

The photo above showing the Rope attached to the fender is correct!

Several years ago I posted the images directly from the 1944 blueprint for the Link Belt winch set up. Many thought the Link Belt winch was only for post war vehicles, blueprints show it approved in 1944.

I don't know where the thread is anymore from my original posting about 10 years ago.

Images and measurements showed where to put the footman loops on the fender to stow the Rope.

If you email me offline I will send you close-ups of the blueprint showing the location for the Rope storage. Feel free to repost on here to The Forum, it's difficult to attach pictures to this forum.

I will post them to the g503 Facebook page today.
