What's wrong with g503.com?

Post by Michael O. » Fri Apr 24, 2015 10:07 am

I keep getting messages that the boards are temporarily unavailable. When I did a site check up, this is what I found, interestingly:

Worldwide Audience
Compare it to ...

G503.com gets 47.1% of its traffic from India where it is ranked #146428.

Top Countries
India 47.1%
USA 30.5%

I find it hard to believe that there would be a lot of interest in g503.com from India. Is the site being attacked? Anyone looking into this?

Ron is at Tower Park, and there's nothing I can do to help other than report it to the Gurus who look after the site.

Interesting data.

Then, I think I should respectfully dedicate the following videos to our audience from India.

I have been having the same issues.
Plus,
An information bar keeps coming on at the top of the page that says,
" To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. "

It is there as I am typing this.

My neighbor is from India.

I'll go ask him to write a strongly worded letter asking them to STOP.

or

Maybe it's due to all the extra traffic from people trying to buy Lloyd's book?

$%@#!@&%$#%!#!!!!!!

It is getting ridiculous...you might lose a half-composed post, then can't get back on for a few minutes or whatever (I get pissed and go work on something like ebay or some other website where the dammed site doesn't crash or whatever its doing every few minutes or so...)

Obviously the site is compromised, overloaded or corrupted somehow....this has been going on for SOME TIME now and we ain't talking a week or two.

UPDATE: it did this TWICE in the last six minutes!

I'm curious how this site checkup was able to determine this information without access to our logs? Could you give me the url you used to test?

first report I got of this in the last year was yesterday morning.
I feel your frustration. It's hard to pinpoint an issue when the symptoms are intermittent.
Right now I'm thinking the Maximum new sessions per minute was exceeded. it was set a little low, but no way in hell am I setting it to "no limit"

so, I've made some changes. I can't tell if it worked.
so you guys continue to report here if it's still happening ok?
